In order to realize the target of 20 million foreign tourist arrivals (tourists) in 2019 and make tourism sector as the core economy of Indonesia, the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenpar) invites brands throughout the country to participate in promoting Indonesian tourism through Co-Branding Partnership program. This collaboration is supported by PT Tirta Investama as the owner of AQUA brand marked by the signing of cooperation commitment between Kemenpar and AQUA witnessed by Tourism Minister Arief Yahya at National Coordination Meeting of Kemenpar III at Bidakara Building, Jakarta, September 26th.
In Co-Branding Partnership program, partners who have stated their commitment will promote Indonesia's tourism image, namely Wonderful Indonesia brand (for global market) and Pesona Indonesia brand (for domestic market).
Communication Director Danone Indonesia, Arif Mujahidin welcomed this cooperation. He stated, "Thanks to the Ministry of Tourism who has given opportunity and entrust this cooperation to AQUA. With this Co-Branding Partnership, we hope to participate in supporting the promotion of Indonesian tourism so that the economic strains of the community are also getting higher and more and more benefiting. On this occasion, Minister Arief also reiterated that President Joko Widodo has set tourism to be a leading sector after agriculture and fisheries.
